Constrained BF theory

Basic introduction will be made concerning gravity models. Especially emphasized will be the path started by Cartan and continued by Plebanski and later MacDowell with Mansouri, which lead to constrained BF theory formulation of the gravity. This model, in which gravity is provided by the gauge symmetry breaking, is suitable for supersymmetric extension of the theory and provides some other interesting features.
