Travel information
The conference will take place in Prerow, a small city situated at the German coast of the Baltic Sea. It is located at the east end of the Darss, the middle part of the peninsula of Fischland-Darss-Zingst, at a distance of about 60 km east from the city of Rostock. It is recommended to first travel directly to Rostock, in particular for participants who enter Germany/Europe from abroad.

Rostock <––> Prerow
A Shuttle
bus will be organized, heading
from Rostock main bus station to Prerow at the arrival day 25.
September 2014, at 7 p.m.
Particiants who will arrive later or at any other day will be contacted by the organizers individually.
Another shuttle bus will be available to travel from Prerow to Rostock at the departure day 30. September 2014,
departing from Prerow at 8:30 a.m. and arriving to Rostock at around 10 a.m.;
participants who have to leave earlier or at any other day should contact the organizers in order to arrange individual transfers.
Please indicate with your registration wheather you plan to use these shuttle services.
Travel to Rostock
It is
recommended to fly to either Hamburg or Berlin.
These airports provide regular connections with
any major international airport from within
Europe, e.g., Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, and
London. Note, that the small Rostock airport does
not provide regular flight connections to any of
these airports!
There are direct and frequent
train connections from Hamburg and Berlin to Rostock (2
hours form Hamburg, 2 1/2 hours form Berlin).
